Alpha Omega College Bible Study

All college-age young adults are welcome to attend Alpha Omega Bible study every Thursday night year round. The group comes together each week to sing praises to the Lord, hear a lesson taught, and go out to eat at a restaurant and fellowship after study.

Sunday School

Sunday School classes are available for all ages on Sunday mornings. Kids 2 1/2 years old through 5th grade learn from Bible lessons hands-on and music upstairs in rooms 2209-2323 during the 9:00am hour. Children from 2 1/2 to 5 years old stay in their classrooms for the 10:00am hour as well. See the Sunday School coordinator next to the balcony overlooking the south lobby for more information.

For adults there are several Sunday School classes held in the Bible Learning Center. There is more information at the South Lobby information desk as well as in the newsletter.

Childcare is provided during the Sunday School hour for 2 years of age and under. See our website (ihcc.org) for details about individual classes.

Boys of Faith / Girls of Grace

The Boys of Faith ministry ministers to boys from 1st through 6th grades on Sunday evenings from 6:00pm-7:30pm during the school year, and meets in the Family Center and disperse to rooms throughout the Bible Learning Center. This ministry is designed to help boys grow into godly young men through Bible lessons, music, games, activities, mentorship, and special events like a pinewood derby, a lock-in, campouts, and Summer Camp. There will be a Cookout on May 11, 2025 for our last night of the school year.

Girls of Grace is our Sunday evening school-year ministry for girls 1st-6th grades. The goal of this ministry is to help these girls grow into godly young ladies through Bible lessons, music, activities, mentorship and training in baking, babysitting, meal planning, sewing, cleaning, gardening, proper manners and more! There are also special events like the Fall Retreat, Daddy-Daughter Date Night, Mother-Daughter Tea, Fall Retreat, and Summer Camp. They start at 6:00pm on Sunday nights and meet throughout the church building. We will have a party on May 11th, 2025 for our last night of the school year.

Evening Worship Service

Sonshine Kids

Children from 4 years through kindergarten are invited to take part in the Sonshine Kids on Sunday nights. After sitting with their parents in the evening service music from 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm, they are dismissed to rooms on the second floor for a time of Bible lessons and music until the end of the service at 7:30 pm.

Titus Tuesday is one of our Women’s Ministry programs that meets during the school year. If you prefer attending in the evening on Mondays, or unable to attend Titus Tuesday mornings, please join us for a time of prayer, Bible study, and discussion group geared toward women and their responsibilities. The aim of these events is to encourage women to increase in godliness and to develop relationships like those described in Titus 2. We meet in the Bible Learning Center, room 1417.
